They got to touch the star, then when we drove away after climbing down, it was lighted and they were so excited about having been up there!

On Top Of Castle Rock

Wonderful 70-degree day in January. I left work early and we climbed the Rock as a family. The hike is ridulously easy now that we've had a year to acclimate (house is at 6400 ft.) And as the kids legs have grown the scramble up top is manageable now. Ansley made it up today without needing a rope assist.
